AIR RELAX SHORTS - A GOOD ADDITION TO MY RECOVERY TOOLKIT!

 THE SHORTS ARE MY FIX.

cross country ski recovery hip flexor

Its been another odd cross country ski season. Too warm, too cold, sparse new snow, not enough ski time. I got flabby in the core. A pulled hip flexor was a nasty surprise. The rebuilding process involves exercise, liquid and solid protein, and the Air Relax Shorts. I have the whole system. With sore muscles, specifically the lower core, the Shorts are my fix. The entire lower core area gets worked over well including the hips and glutes. With the additional coverage down the thighs, there is no pinching.

After protein intake, I will start with a comfortable pressure to loosen the muscles up. I run this till the timer stops, then start again. I will use higher pressure to saturate the muscles with protein rich blood for a brief time. I turn the pressure down and may repeat the described massage routine. The next day, I am not sore. Having said that, I am not "bombing" muscles like a bodybuilder does, not yet.

The leg cuffs have been a big help in repairing yet another injury, a hyper extended knee. A week later I can almost run on it again.

HAMSTRING PULL RECOVERY

Air Relax Shorts is a great innovation from some great designers. I am currently nursing a hamstring pull during a basketball game at 42 years of age . My ever-inspiring mother-in-law (a competitive marathon runner at post 60) encouraged me to give these compression chambers a try. As I have only used these leg sleeves and shorts during a injury rehab duration, I cannot attest for the every-day recovery aspects they are heralded to accommodate.

For now, I will say, I am satisfied with the performance and technical soundness of the Air-Relax (best sleep I've had in months) and am stoked about the potential recovery time slash in the future. After 30, every injury-free day is a gift and I am thankful for my mom-in-law, first for providing me with the most inspirational and strong woman I could have hoped to call my bride, but then to always encourage me to be my best despite time and gravity. Here's to another ten years of being great on and off the court.

Thank you to my family and to competent competitive innovators like yourselves.
